With a minor in literature from Idaho State University, I have taught English and writing in high school and community programs. I judged Young Authors Conferences and prepared a unit on writing as part of art therapy. Just out of college, I traveled to Europe on a National Endowment for the Arts and Humanities Graduation Grant for my creative writing. And I also have master’s degrees in fine art, education, anthropology, and political science.
